April showers brings blooming destinations 🌸 There is a lot happening in the world right now; in this issue, you’ll find helpful information on travel advisories and industry updates. I’ve also added a couple of deals, a list of running resources, and some reviews from my travel clients! Happy spring!
A long weekend is just right for settling into Savannah’s easygoing rhythm. Enjoy gallery hopping, explore nearby Tybee Island, and shop along Broughton and Bull streets. Check out Perry Lane Hotel (15% off nightly stay) or Hotel Bardo (20% if booked 3/30 - 4/13) for design-forward stays.
Three or four days is the perfect amount of time to tap into Vegas’s electric energy without overdoing it. I’d suggest the Four Seasons Las Vegas, which is running a 20% off special + perks like room credits and daily breakfast. The city’s music scene has never been better; catch a show and enjoy the nightlife!
The Western state lends itself to a vacation defined by open landscapes and outdoor adventures. At Brush Creek Ranch, days revolve around horseback riding, fly fishing, and guided activities. (Bonus: the all-inclusive structure that makes it easy to unplug.) For clients who want a less remote option, the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole (20% off special + perks) provides a well-located base in Teton Village with direct access to Grand Teton National Park.
For many families, a Disney or Universal trip feels like a rite of passage. With so much to see and do, it’s worth pacing things out over a few days, leaving room to revisit favorite rides and experiences. I like pairing park days with a stay at Four Seasons Resort Orlando (25% off + perks), which offers a true resort reset (lazy river, standout kids’ club, excellent dining), or The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, where the setting feels more removed and relaxed after high-energy days in the parks.
As your travel pal, it’s my job to keep you as informed as possible. See below for travel advisories and industry updates.
Airlines are facing a major fuel cost spike due to geopolitical tensions. Fares could jump up by 20%, and some routes are already being cut. Expect: higher ticket prices, fewer flight options, and more cautious booking behavior.

Travel advisories are government-issued warnings (like those from the U.S. State Department) designed to inform travelers about safety risks abroad. They use a four-level system ranging from Level 1 (exercise normal precautions) to Level 4 (do not travel). However, they do not always offer the full picture.
What travel advisories are for:
Provide early warnings about risks like crime, conflict, health issues, or natural disasters
Serve as a baseline risk assessment, especially for less experienced travelers
Offer guidance for both planning trips and responding to emergencies abroad
Travel advisories are best understood as guidelines, not rules. They help you make informed decisions, but context is important.
I’ve now had several clients travel with me and their reviews are in! Check out what folks are saying about booking with me, your travel pal.
“Kora created a great itinerary for us in Boston and Salem for all times of the day.”
“Kora found the perfect hotel for our stay in Keene, NH! She provided us with great information about various lodging options and found us a place to stay that worked wonderfully for our trip. She also provided us with all sorts of helpful visitor information and recommendations for places to eat and visit!”
“With so many hotel options in the Boston area, Kora found us a perfect place to stay for our weekend trip to Boston! She found a hotel that had a shuttle service available for when we arrived and had a list of activities that were unique and memorable, outside of the usual tourist recommendations. When we left some important items after we checked out, she helped us contact the hotel and ensured that we got those items back, what a relief!!! She made sure we had great trip and was a life-saver for some unexpected bumps!”
